All Saints Church is happy to announce that The Rev. Steven Paulikas has joined us as Priest In Charge, effective June 12.
Fr. Paulikas comes to us from GraceChurchBrooklynHeights, where he has served as Assistant to the Rector since 2008. Fr. Paulikas received his M.Div. with honors from General Theological Seminary and previously worked as a print and broadcast journalist in Eastern Europe. He received his B.A. with honors from YaleUniversity and his M.Phil. from CambridgeUniversity, where studied literature. A native of the Detroit area, Fr. Paulikas is passionate about urban ministry and has ministered in parishes in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods of Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio in addition to New York. His other interests in ministry include work with children and youth, hospital ministry, and ecumenical and interfaith relations. In the Diocese of Long Island, he serves on the Commission on Ministry and the Ecuador Central companion diocese development team.
Fr. Paulikas is excited to join the people of All Saints in building up a community in Park Slope focused on sharing the love of Jesus Christ with one another and with the world around us.

The Sacrament of Holy Baptism
All Saints Church normally celebrates the Sacrament of Holy Baptism on The Feasts of the Baptism of Our Lord, Easter, Pentecost and All Saints, and on the second Sunday of the month in months (other than during Lent) which do not include one of those feasts. A preparation class for the parents, and, if possibe the godparents, of infant or child baptismal candidates is required before the baptism and additional preparation is required prior to baptism for adult candidates.
